Loving Machine Embroidery

So, what do you get when you buy a $1 nylon bag with a bow on it at the Dollar Tree, and you embroider "Once upon a Time" on it?  You get a darling bag that is just perfect to hold your nook color e-reader.  Really, I am so pleased with this project.  It is just too cute!

Here's a close up of the embroidery.  So now I carry this with me everywhere and it lowers the chance of leaving my nook color at Applebees, like I did a couple of weeks ago.  That was not a fun experience, and thank heavens it was looked up in the manager's office when I drove back there at 11:45pm.  Yes, I would not let my precious e-reader spend the night away from home without me!  :)  But I don't want to lose the bag either, so I tend to make sure I have it.

It's the perfect size to hold my nook color, my up close reading glasses (don't ask- it's too depressing), a cleaning cloth, and any other trinket I must have with me.  I've even been known to throw my wallet in there and carry it as a purse in a pinch.

So, looks like some of my e-reading friends might be getting something similar for Christmas. . .
