After the flood forced us to redo the downstairs, I decided to fix this room up.
I took out my old cutting table and brought in two six foot tables (donated to me by a friend). I mod podged the one, and I'll get to the other soon. The neatest part about this redo was that I took fabric and skirted the edges all around the tables, so my stash is totally hidden and everything looks neat. I also found a smaller futon at a fire sale at a place around the corner and it's perfect for the space!
Here's what it used to look like:
And here is what it looks like now! I know it's a bit busy, and it looks better in person, but it's got all my goodies in it and I totally love this space. You can see my covered toy box in the middle of the room. I have a tray on it so it's hard to see the fabric, but it matches the colors.
Not bad. Now everyone is complaining that I spend all of my time in here. Well, sorry! When you get it just how you want it, what do you expect? :)

Tiffany, love the fabric that you skirted the tables with. It makes the loft look a lot larger than it did before. Now get to work on those houses!!!

Tiffany- being the nosy gal that I am I had to make the pictures bigger so I could see everything. I think it's just fab- I really love the fabric you skirted the tables in and the futon matches everything so perfect! I wouldn't leave either! Hooray for great creative space!
